The giant eye is to remind you that :

THE LORD is upon
them that fear HIM."

And the image of the cross is to remind you that GOD had the cross in mind when HE sent JESUS to earth in the flesh to be The Lamb of GOD to take away the sins of the world. JESUS is GOD in the flesh according to Scripture.
Neither of these images is intended to represent GOD to you --do not ever make images of GOD, but they are intended to remind you that the scripture says GOD has eyes! And that HE knows and sees all.
